Air traffic control the NETHERLANDS completes operational acceptance of UFA’s ATTower ATC Simulator

WOBURN, MA, March 31, 2008 – UFA, Inc., announced today that the company has successfully completed the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for operational acceptance of Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (Luchtverkeersleiding Nederland - LVNL), Tower Simulator at Schiphol Airport, the Netherlands.

The LVNL Tower Simulator, based on UFA’s ATTower® and ATRadio® products, provides a 360o 3D Tower simulator using a very high resolution twenty (20) channel projection system provided by VISCON GmbH.    Standard off-the-shelf PC hardware is used to host UFA’s ATTower®, ATRadio® and ATView® software.  ATTower® is a fully integrated, standalone simulator providing Apron, Tower, PAR, Approach and En Route capabilities.  ATRadio 2 is VoIP based Voice Communications Simulator providing a low cost alternative to operational VCS equipment in a training environment.  ATView 2 is a state of the art PC/Windows based Image Generator.

Additional installations of ATTower® include the US Army and Army National Guard; the FMG in Munich, Germany; the DLR in Braunschweig, Germany; the DFS in Langen, Germany; the FINAVIA, in Vantaa, Finland; EUROCONTROL IANS in Luxembourg; AAI CATC in Allahabad, India; and DGAC/DSNA at Charles De Gaulle and Orly Airports in Paris, France.
