CAA Finland AVIA College completes operational acceptance of ATC Simulator
WOBURN, MA, May 27, 2004 – UFA, Incorporated, announced today that the company has successfully completed the Final Endurance Test (FET) for operational acceptance of the CAA Finland (FCAA) AVIA College ATC Simulator in Vantaa, Finland.
The AVIA College ATC simulator based on UFA’s ATTower®/TOWSIM® simulator, was installed by 5S Computer GmbH of Kaufbeuren, Germany. 5S is an exclusive service provider for UFA. The AVIA College ATC Simulator provides a 360o 3D Tower simulator, 2D Tower simulators, APP/ACC Radar Simulators and Precision Approach Radar (PAR) simulators. Standard off-the-shelf PC hardware is used to host the ATTower® software. ATTower® is a fully integrated, standalone simulator providing Apron, Tower, PAR, Approach and En Route capabilities.
Additional installations of ATTower include the FMG in Munich, Germany; the DLR in Braunschweig, Germany; the DFS in Langen, Germany; the DHMI in Ankara, Turkey; EUROCONTROL IANS in Luxembourg; AAI CATC in Allahabad, India; and ADP at Charles De Gaulle and Orly Airports in Paris, France.
