Sensis Corp. accepts UFA’s ATCoach® Surveillance Sensor test tool
Woburn, MA, February 13, 2002 – UFA, Incorporated, announced today that Sensis Corporation has formally accepted UFA’s ATCoach Surveillance Sensor Test Tool for use with the Sensor Monitoring Facility for the FAA’s En Route Communications Gateway (ECG) Program.
UFA’s Surveillance Sensor Test Tool is an embedded target generation configuration of UFA’s standalone and embedded ATCoach product that provides surveillance sensor messaging for simulated air traffic to the Sensis-developed Sensor Monitoring Facility for the En Route Communications Gateway Program. This ATCoach configuration supports CD-2, ASR-9, ASR-11, ASTERIX Categories 000, 001, 002, 003, 008, 034, and 048, and ADS-B ASTERIX Categories 021 and 242 sensor standards.
