UFA’s ATTower Simulator Operational in Shanghai, China
Woburn, MA, March 8, 2010 – UFA, INC., a leading provider of Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation technologies, announced today that the CAAC Air Traffic Management Bureau’s Tower Simulator in Shanghai, China, with the ATTower®, ATView®, ATRadio® and ATVoice® products is in operation at Pudong International Airport.
The Shanghai Tower Simulator provides a state of the art 360 degree ATTower simulator with ATVoice Voice Recognition and Response capability. The simulator is in use for training requirements for Pudong, Hongqiao and four additional airports in the CAAC ATMB-East region. The ATVoice Voice Recogniton and Response product significantly reduces the training staff requirements while allowing high fidelity training.
The UFA ATTower and ATVoice products are also in extensive use by the US Military, EUROCONTROL, NAV CANADA, DGAC/DSNA France, LVNL Netherlands and DFS Germany.
