UFA, Inc. - Expands ATC simulation expertise and market presence

UFA is very pleased to announce two significant additions reflecting its commitment in expanding its expertise and presence in the global Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation market.

UFA is pleased to announce the establishment of ATCSim GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of UFA, located in Mainz, Germany. ATCSim will initially provide direct support to our DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH Customer as well as planned expansion to other Customers throughout Europe. This support includes product enhancements to the DFS Advanced Function Simulator and to the joint DFS/UFA development of the next generation NewSim radar training simulator for the DFS Air Traffic Control Academy located in Langen, Germany.

UFA and 5S Computer GmbH of Kaufbeuren, Germany have recently concluded an agreement establishing a long-term collaboration between our Companies, each of which specializes in differing facets of ATC software simulation. With this agreement, UFA has obtained ownership of the 5S TowSim 3D ATC Tower Simulator, the core software installed at several key tower training sites in Europe.

The combined knowledge and resources of UFA and 5S along with the complementary nature of our simulation technologies allows UFA to provide our Customers with capabilities that span the entire ATC simulation spectrum

Together with 5S and ATCSim, UFA continues its leadership role in Air Traffic Control software simulation, now from gate to gate. UFA looks forward with great enthusiasm and commitment to bringing the benefits of our expanded expertise and technologies to you, our Customers.
