UFA Appoints James Cuoco as Director of Software Development

Burlington, MA., May 7, 2018 – UFA, Inc. (UFA), a leading provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, announced that it has appointed James Cuoco as Director of Software Development. Cuoco will lead the software development team at UFA headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts with a focus on streamlining and enhancing the software development process to meet growing customer demands.

Prior to joining UFA, Cuoco worked closely with UFA’s Christine Paras on the FAA’s Air Traffic Management System (ATMS) where he led a team responsible for the system’s route processing software and the “56-Day Update” of the software’s representation of the Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC) sectors.

Most recently, Cuoco served as the Director of Information Systems for MAXIMUS’ Boston Office for 11 years. He managed the software development, reporting, hardware and systems portion of MAXIMUS’ MassHealth Division’s $55 million contract with the State of Massachusetts.
