Burlington, MA., April 2, 2018 – UFA, Inc. (UFA), a leading provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, debuted its new stand to great acclaim at the 2018 World Air Traffic Management Congress in Madrid, Spain. UFA experienced record volumes of traffic throughout the show as customers were able to interact with the full range of the company’s product offerings.
Using UFA’s integrated ATTower® Tower Simulator and ATVehicle™ Airside Driving Simulator, visitors drove around the airfield using ATVehicle while being able to see their actual movements on the linked ATTower system. UFA’s ATCloud™ cloud-based platform featuring ATCoach and ATSpeak were also especially well received.
For the first time since its participation in the Congress, UFA took part in the education theater program. Glynn Turner, International Business Development Director, explained how UFA’s integrated systems are equipped to help ANSPs provide more than controller training. The presentation focused on the use case of Emergency Training for Airport Joint Emergency Response teams – the topic which earned UFA the honor of being shortlisted for the 2018 Jane’s ATC ‘Runway’ Award.
“The World ATM Congress is our industry’s flagship event and UFA was thrilled to play such a prominent role in this year’s program,” added David Wolff, UFA’s CEO.
UFA has begun preparing for next year’s Congress and plans to incorporate new additions to its stand to commemorate its 40th anniversary.
