UFA, Inc. Appoints Ivan Rasin as Chief Technology Officer


Burlington, MA., March 4, 2021 – UFA, Inc. (UFA), a leading provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, has named Mr. Ivan Rasin as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Rasin will be the first in this position for the company and will bring his technical leadership and vision to UFA’s entire product portfolio. He is responsible for driving the technology innovation strategy for UFA products and maintaining a personal connection to customers and their objectives.


Mr. Rasin began his career with ATCSim GmbH, UFA’s German subsidiary, in 2008 as a Software Engineer. In 2015 he became Product Manager for UFA’s ATTower product line, which under his leadership grew to include the ATVehicle and ATLIVE products. In addition to conceptualizing, managing, and delivering these products, he was a key contributor in growing and modernizing UFA for the past decade.

Ivan holds a diploma in computer science from the Kempten University of Applied Sciences. He will continue to work at the ATCSim office in Kaufbeuren, Germany and will report to UFA's President and COO Lawrence Pennett who says “The appointment is timely with the upcoming general availability of UFA’s next generation ATVoice voice recognition and response product, ATView image generator product, and expanded capabilities and use of our ATCloud and simulation as a service offerings. Having Ivan in this new for UFA CTO role will ensure we are meeting our customer’s growing demands for innovative simulation and training capabilities.”
